The first of its kind 6-Week (or 3 day intensive) program exploring self, community & climate change through the medium of photographic expression. Participants are invited to use photography as a medium of expression of their lived experiences in relation to Earth, the More-than-human world & climate.
Alison Beaumont has completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Therapeutic Photography at Robert Gordon University and brings this methodology and learning to the Climatography series.
The program follows principles of therapeutic photography with the intention of providing participants with the opportunity to develop self-efficacy and empowerment to with an outcome of enacting social change individually or in their communities. As the Gibson’s model illustrates there is a whole series of explorations that take place as the series progresses.
No previous experience with using photography is needed, participants will use their own cameraphone or camera. Technical assistance will be provided as needed. For more details register below or visit the Climatography page
