We can't post news story links in Canada on social media so sharing a few screen shots from this article by @janegoodallinst from the @bbcnews the window is closing and with below par discussions at COP29 and talk in many countries of more fossil fuel extraction, I hope voices like Dr. Goodall's can make some noise. Here's to hope.
Urdhva Dhanurasana Pose of the month @vikasayoga this is my version. I love this pose and usually try to do it most classes when there is an option too. I feel like there is always something to improve too, always little tweaks and cues to get better. Thanks to the teachers @invati.yoga and @crowierazzboy for the inspiration.
The night in reverse. Thank you @lumiereyvr for lighting up my evening literally and figuratively. If you are in @cityofvancouver this weekend check out the light shows across the city from 5pm to 9:30pm

Installation day! So grateful to have worked with Shauna Odleifsen and Joanne Gervais on this collaborative work "Vanishing Point" for the upcoming Ebb and Flow @artscokanagan exhibition opening this Friday at @kelownaartgallery . Our work is an augmented reality artwork that can be accessed using the Artvive App.
Ebb and Flow explores the Okanagan Valley’s natural and cultural history through the Four Elements: Earth, Water, Air, and Fire. This exhibition examines how these elements have shaped the valley’s landscape and influenced its inhabitants, from the ice age to the present. By highlighting the dynamic interplay between these fundamental forces, the exhibition fosters a deeper appreciation for the region’s rich heritage and ongoing evolution.
This exhibition will feature work by prominent Okanagan artists including Alison Beaumont, Fern Helfand, Joanne Gervais, Dr. Michelle Jack, Wanda Lock, Shauna Oddleifson, Julie Oakes, and Andreas Rutkauskas.
Curated by Kirsteen McCulloch, Executive Director of the Arts Council of the Central Okanagan.
